The journey to end poverty for good begins with a child.

The problems most of these children face are dire: violence, HIV, drugs, teen pregnancy, and a lack of academic support. Any one of these challenges could spell the end of a bright future. Our work keeps the light on.

What we offer
We work towards breaking the cycle that keeps young people trapped generation after generation. Children in Philippi Township, South Africa, face brutal poverty. Housing is haphazard, opportunities are scarce, and HIV infections claim one in three young women.

Our Projects
Our Community Solutions and Resource Access Programme are driven by data, they unite a wide variety of community resources and include a peer mentorship programme, which hires recent graduates to teach younger teens critical life skills, and gives mentors their first professional experience.
